There are trillions of cells in our body and at any given time a great number are dividing furiously to keep us alive and well. The process is directed by genes sitting on the 23 pairs of chromosomes found in the nucleus of each and every cell. The chromosomes are long sequences or strands of DNA that contain all our genetic material. Each pair of chromosomes consists of one from your mother and one from your father and they are twisted around each other in a shape structure called a double helix.
Of particular interest to genetic scientists are the ends of each chromosome, which are known as telomeres. Telomeres have no genetic function; they are simply stretches of DNA (repeats of base pairs) that protect the rest of the chromosome. These little bits of DNA are critical to healthy cell function and have been likened to the plastic tips on shoelaces because they prevent the chromosome from fraying. However, telomeres become progressively shorter each time the cell divides. When they get too short, cells reach replicative senescence and can no longer divide. The result is the various conditions associated with old age. In that sense, telomeres hold the key to our biological clocks.
Scientists have only recently begun to understand the critical importance of shortened telomeres. Research has shown that people over sixty who have long telomeres experience greater heart and immune system health than their age-matched counterparts with shorter telomeres. Thus, it is becoming well-understood that maintaining telomere length is preventing age-related decline. The phenomenon of cellular aging was first noted by Professor Lenhard Hayflick in 1961. He discovered that cells cannot divide beyond a specific number of times. This is called the Hayflick Limit. Cells reaching this limit become old. Although Professor Hayflick discovered this important scientific principle, he had no idea what caused it. It took almost thirty more years before the role telomeres play in cellular aging was finally understood. In 1990, Calvin Harley at McMaster University in Canada and Carol Greider at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in the USA discovered that telomere shortening goes hand-in-hand with the aging process and is the direct cause of cells reaching the Hayflick Limit.
In 2009, Elizabeth H. Blackburn, Carol W. Greider, and Jack W. Szostak won the Nobel Prize in medicine for discovering how the chromosomes can be copied in a complete way during cell divisions and how they are protected against degradation. The Nobel Laureates have shown that the solution is to be found in the ends of the chromosomes, the telomeres, and in an enzyme that helps form them, telomerase. Joseph, the creator and owner of WigSalon.com one of the world's first merchant web sites, has now been on TA-65 for 5 months. When lymph nodes on one side of his neck flared up in early 2010, he went from doctor to doctor, trying to figure out what might be ailing him ( though, excpet for the first 2 weeks he felt fine. ) Two biposies turned up no maligancies, but the doctors wanted to do more testing and even cutting. That is when Joseph said no, and went on various health diets and programs which eventually led him to discover TA-65. The results are slow but steady, but then so is aging. So what would you expect of age reversal? It is also slow but steady.
Because many of our clients are experiencing or have previously experienced some serious challenge to health, our founder thought it right to at least introduce our clients to TA-65. TA-65 is fairly expensive ( though we sell it for less than other sites, the WigSalon way). But TA-65 is far cheaper than having to pay for doctors all the time. TA-65 is a proven telomerase activator that was discovered by California biotech company Geron, and licensed to T.A Sciences. Clients may take TA-65 capsules in a 12 month program . TA-65 turns on the hTERT gene which activates the enzyme telomerase which can lengthen your telomeres. WigSalon can help you find doctors in your area who can measure your telomeres before, during and after your 12-month program. Joseph has decided to stay on the TA for as long as he can afford it. Many also notice a spiritual rejuvenation that accompanies the lengthenning of telomeres.
TA-65 is a naturally occurring single molecule found in the ancient Chinese herb Astragalus. T.A. Sciences has developed a proprietary process to refine and purify TA-65. Our process begins with tons of plant material harvested from selected farms in one small region in China. In our plant extraction facility, the raw Astragalus root is chopped up and refined. After initial extraction, the base ingredient is further purified and then sent to an outside government testing facility where it is tested for purity, heavy metals, and pesticides. The product is then sent to a FDA certified, state-of-the-art, laboratory for final purification that ends up with 90+% pure TA-65.
We have all heard stories about issues and concerns with the quality, or lack thereof, of some nutritional supplement products and manufacturers, including cases where what is claimed on the label is not always what is in the bottle. By producing under conditions at a facility certified by the Natural Products Association with comprehensive programs of assays and testing throughout the supply chain and production process, T.A. Sciences can assure its clients of the highest level of quality, potency, and purity of TA-65 in each and every capsule. What they say on their label is 100% accurate.
TA Sciences has licensed TA-65 from the Geron Corporation. The telomerase-activating potency of TA-65 has been independantly proven in rigorous tests by Geron . Sierra Sciences, a biotech company specializing in telomere biology, has independently tested and found that TA-65 activates telomerase. Disclaimer: The information provided on this website is intended for educational purposes. The educational material contained in this site is based on a careful analysis of the scientific literature and the experience of the T.A. Sciences team. Telomerase Activation is cutting edge science and knowledgeable scientists have differing views as to its benefits and safety. We urge each prospective client to become educated about TA and to consult their own experts prior to starting the PATTON PROTOCOL or using any product that is a true telomerase activator. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Dr Ed Park is Joseph's TA-65 doctor. He produces wonderful videos every week. You can see them here . We particularly call your attention to the video called "TA-65 does not cause cancer". Joseph believes the standard cancer industry is going to give TA-65 a hard time because it seems to be helping so many patients who have or had malignancies. The Mayo Clinic recently published a study regarding senescent cells in mice. This study concludes that removing senescent cells halts the aging process. Senescent cells are old cells that can no longer divide and do not function properly. A major scientific event, the Mayo study demonstrated that getting rid of senescent cells improves physical traits associated with aging and improves quality of life. TA-65 has also been shown to reduce senescent cells. In a peer-reviewed article published in September 2010, TA-65 was shown to improve the ratio between healthy immune cells and senescent cells.
WigSalon wants its clients to be aware of this remarkable new advance in science. Do some of your own TA-65 research online. It's easy these days. Joseph will be happy to answer any questions you have about TA-65 from his experience. Stay healthy and happy. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions.
