Twitter reviews were
mixed when X Factor judge Dannii Minogue wore a wig to recent auditions for the new season
of the Down Under version of the hit television talent show. Entertainment
reported that some fans were disappointed that Dannii choose to cover up her
own beautiful locks while other’s loved the new look. Dannii’s changeable

Young Celebs Embracing Wigs
The Australian
singer/actress’ wig wardrobe is the height of fashion. Wig wear is a hot trend
among today’s young celebrities.
“I think it is fantastic that a
style-oriented and savvy women like Dannii can wear a wig and make it look
cool,” style commentator Melissa Hoyer told PerthNow.com.
“It’s usually got nothing to do with a personal hair issue or bad hair
situation. It’s more like a great way of giving a celeb a new look.”
Wigs Are Showing Up Off-Stage
Wigs are popping up on
more celebrity heads as celebs tune into the convenience and instant style wigs
offer. Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Osbourne and Lady Gaga are among the
popular celebrities that are taking wig wear off-stage and into their private
lives.
“In days of fast fashion and
trend-oriented pop culture chameleons, wigs are a perfect and easy accessory
that can give anyone, let alone a public figure, an entire new look,” Hoyer
said.
